Humayoon Chakhansuri is a program, project, and operations management professional with more than 16 years of experience across international development, donor-funded programs, and complex environments. His career includes extensive experience with the World Bank Group, spanning program and portfolio management, project delivery, operations, monitoring and evaluation, and stakeholder engagement.

A Fulbright Scholar, he holds a Master of Business Administration in Strategic Management from the University of Akron in the United States and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Kardan University in Afghanistan.

In November 2021, following the restrictions that prevented Afghan girls from continuing their education beyond Grade 6, Humayoon founded Fyza Education with a simple purpose: to help girls continue learning despite the barriers placed in their way.

As Founder and CEO, he leads the program's development and partnerships, working to expand access to free, structured online education and create pathways for students to continue their studies and pursue recognised qualifications.

His vision for Fyza Education is clear: education should remain within reach for every girl, regardless of the circumstances around her.
